This epic 7-day downwinder from Preá to Atins covers almost 300 kilometers along this beautiful tropical coast. Keeping track of you along the way will be our 4×4 vehicle on the land, and experienced instructors and guides on the water and, crossing the Delta do Parnaíba. To end the trip in style, you will then have your own final day photoshoot in the famous natural park of Lençois Maranhenses.
Spaces are strictly limited to 10 to ensure safety and that you get the maximum time riding with Marc.

Marc brings the same passion for his own riding to his coaching so you can expect to be spending time with the most committed and dedicated coach. He will be with you throughout the 300km journey and will have your back, as well as keeping an eye on your riding and using his incredible knowledge of kitesurfing to help take your riding to the next level. There will also be the chance for a specific goal-focused session with Marc to enable you to focus on elements of your riding you would like to improve or to help with any freestyle or Big Air tricks you are focused on getting dialed.
Arrival day, and a downwinder from Preá to Tatajuba, 35km. The idea is to do a simple downwinder to check your level and ensure your gear is all okay. Get back to Preá after the downwinder and we will spend the evening in Jericoacoara.
Downwind from Camocím to Barra Grande, 55km. Transfer between Preá and Camocím to start the day’s downwinder. Marc Jacobs and the local instructors will join you for the downwinder, and you will be followed on land by a 4×4 with all the equipment and cool drinks for the breaks!
Downwinder from Barra Grande to Macapá, 10km, followed by a flat water session. Free kite day in the Macapá Delta and preparation for the Delta de Parnaíba. Getting back to Barra Grande at the end of the day.
Downwind from Barra Grande to Delta de Parnaíba, 55km. Marc Jacobs and the local instructors will join you for the downwinder, and you will be followed on land by a 4×4 with all the equipment, and they’ll also keep a check on your progress.
Downwind from Delta de Parnaíba to Tutoia, 61km. Enjoy this unique and beautiful leg of the downwinder through the Delta de Parnaíba. This is a truly amazing and unique experience – you will be accompanied by a boat during this part of the downwinder.
Downwind from Tutoia to Atins, 60km. This is the final part of the downwinder and we will reach our final destination, Atins, where cold beers await! They will taste better than any you have had before – that is a guarantee!
Atins Activities: You can kitesurf or you can take an excursion by 4×4 to the Lençois Maranhenses National Park.
Return to airport.
Close to the famous city of Jericoacoara, Preá enjoys stronger sideshore winds that are simply perfect for Big Air, powered freestyle or just for boosting into the sunset!
Tatajuba lies around 30km north of Jericoacoara, a famous and vibrant Brazilian town. Tatajuba is known for its peaceful surroundings and will be the stop for the first downwinder.
Barra Grande has perfect kite conditions and butter-flat waters.
Atins is a small fishing village located on the coast of Maranhão, surrounded by the dunes of the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. It’s a special place, right at the delta of the Preguiças River, a small creek, and the Atlantic Ocean. Atins has amazing kiteboarding conditions with consistent cross-shore winds and shallow warm waters.
