How does the booking process work?

After choosing your clinic, just fill out our registration form. We will send you an e-document and you will be able to prepay the required deposit. And that’s it: you will get your booking confirmation and have your spot secured!

Let us know when you’ve booked your flights so we can add you to the arrival/departure list.

What happens if I cannot attend the clinic due to COVID-19?

We are monitoring the situation closely and will keep you updated. All the clinics we have planned we expect to happen. If they have to be cancelled for any reason, we will offer to fully refund your deposit, or give you the option to save your booking for a spot in the 2021 clinic.

Can I book a private room?

If you want to have the privacy of your own room, no problem. Just let us know and we will let you know the availability. There will be a surcharge and we can inform you of this following your request.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes, travel insurance is mandatory to all travellers, and a copy will be required. There are many companies out there that provide good and economic services, such as https://www.sportscoverdirect.com/sports-travel-insurance.

Dakhla

Is Morocco Safe?

Morocco is the safest and most open muslim country in the world, and Dakhla is no exception! We know the country and customs very well and it is a very special place. You will be picked up on arrival at the airport and taken directly to the accommodation. If you want to explore the city or find out more about the local culture, we can arrange trips during your stay.

Are there any passport issues?

You need a passport that is valid for a minimum of 6 months to enter Morocco. When entering the country, you will be asked to fill in a registration form by the authorities. In the “Address in Morocco” field, you shall add our accommodation name: LaSarga Ecolodge Dakhla.

How are the locals?

Moroccan people are widely known for being very welcoming and always ready to help! And we can assure you it is absolutely true. Always there to give a hand, prepare some mint tea, a great tagine and all this with a smile on their faces of course.

How to get there?

The International Airport of Dakhla will be your final destination. To get there, you will find some direct flights from Europe (Paris – Dakhla with Transavia for example), but also via Casablanca, Marrakech or Agadir. If you need some tips for your flights, just let us know. We will be glad to help.

What do I need to bring?

We are in the desert, so bring summer clothes for the day and warm clothes for the evenings! A strange mix in your suitcase indeed but it can get chilly in the evenings and hot in the days so it is best to be prepared for everything.

What are the weather and conditions like in October?

Well, this is Dakhla, so you can expect 330 windy days per year! At this time of year you can expect consistent surf on the Atlantic side of the peninsula and a steady thermal wind of 18-25 knots in the afternoons. The wind is similar on the lagoon side and kicks in any time from 9am until lunchtime.

What about no wind days?

We have many activities you could do if you get a day with no wind. From surfing top world waves, stand up paddling, fishing trips, kayaking, excursions and much more. No wind, no problem!

I would like to rent gear, how does it work and how much is it?

Ecolodge LaSarga has an official ION Center as a partner. They have all the toys you can imagine to rent. Check out their website for prices.

The group for this camp will not exceed 12 participants in total, so 6 riders per coach to be able to offer you the best quality.

Brazil

Is Brazil Safe?

Yes of course. This part of Brazil is very safe and very friendly. Our destination is in one of the many paradises that this beautiful country offers. In nature, close to the ocean and far from the craziness of the modern world.

Do I need a passport?

You do need a passport to enter the country. Passport control is quite straightforward and the visa is free for all European countries and from the US. We will be waiting for you at arrivals!

How are the locals?

Brazilians are some of the warmest and nicest people we have encountered. They live with passion, fun and they share and spread that feeling around them.

How to get there?

Your arrival airport will be Fortaleza. You will then get picked up from there and we will bring you either to Cumbuco or Préa. If you want any additional help with travel plans just let us know!

What do I need to bring?

Well this is like the tropics, so please bring light clothing, sun protection and your beach attire! Also some aftersun, a rash vest and mosquito repellant are advised.

What are the weather and conditions like in November?

It is summer! So yes, it is hot and the wind conditions are reliably great… This is Brazil at its finest!

What about no wind days?

This is very unlikely at this time of year, but if the worst happens you can choose from different activities such as surfing, some capoeira training at the beach, yoga, local excursions and more. We will organize activities if needs be.

Mauritius

Is Mauritius Safe?

Mauritius is a super friendly and safe country. The only dangerous animal we know is the stone fish. Maybe some sea urchins on the reef! Watch your step walking around in the lagoon and that is the worst you have to worry about.

Do I need a passport?

Yes, a passport and a valid return ticket need to be presented to enter Mauritius.

How are the locals?

Local people are super friendly, but note that they want to be respected on the waves so make sure you are aware of the rules in the line up and you will be just fine.

How to get there?

Mauritius has one international airport. We will wait for you to pick you up at the arrival day. We’ll bring you then to our week’s accommodation.

What do I need to bring?

Depending on the months mosquito repellent is handy. Not that there are dangerous ones, but itchy ones. Everything you need is available at the shops here. There are plenty of pharmacies and huge supermarkets.

What are the weather and conditions like in October?

October is the windy time of the year, combined with great swells. We recommend a 3/2 or a shorty for watersports. Maybe bring a hoodie for the evening or a thin jacket for windy days on the beach. 

And of course plenty of boardies/bikinis!

What about no wind days?

On non windy days there are plenty of options. From stand up paddling, island BBQs, rum tasting afternoons or a Saturday at the horserace to experience the real Mauritian lifestyle!
